⚠ Why this log matters: Upper Saint Clair's Traffic Calming Policy requires that 85% of all vehicles be traveling 35 mph or faster before safety measures can even be considered on a 25 mph street. No car should have the opportunity to travel 10+ mph above the posted speed limit in this neighborhood. We believe that any incidents of excessive speed strengthen the case for traffic calming. This site serves to document those incidents.

This site is maintained by residents of Devonwood Drive in Upper Saint Clair, PA, who have been advocating for traffic calming measures for over four years.

Upper Saint Clair's Traffic Calming Policy (2017) requires that the 85th percentile speed on a residential street reach 35 mph before any intervention is considered — on a street posted at 25 mph.

We believe this threshold is unreasonably high and that documenting dangerous incidents strengthens our case for change.
